Dynatek Laboratories bend testing is designed to replicate stresses experienced by the stent in vivo beyond radial expansion. Examples include such motions as the bending of the renal artery during respiration and rotation of the carotid artery during head turning. This type of testing is recommended in the FDA Guidance for Industry. Dynatek Laboratories' staff will custom- design testing based on parameters established by the client, or may assist the client in establishing parameters. Dynamic bend testing can be performed in a pulsatile or static-pressure environment, and at room temperature or physiological temperatures.
